CAMPE stands against countrywide rising of rape incidence against women and children

Stop rape of women and children and ensure justice, Stop violence against women and children- demands were raised by the participants attended in a Human Chain organized at CAMPE office, Dhaka and two working area, Panchagarh and Netrokona district in cooperation with partner organization PASS & SERRA on 3rd September to raise voice against countrywide rising of rape incidence against women and children’.

Recently Sexual abuse against women and children has reached an alarming level in all over the country. Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) and its partner organizations organized countrywide protest against all type of violence against women and children on 3rd September, the effective day of CEDAW (Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women).

CAMPE and its partner organizations expressed solidarity with the protest and organized Human Chain at the working areas. About 360 people including CAMPE staff, youth volunteers, representatives of local government and community people participated in the Human Chain and raised voice against rape incidence as well as any find of violence against women and children, they also demanded necessary actions for ensuring safety and security of the women and girl child.
