Ms. Rasheda K. Choudhury, Executive Director of CAMPE was invited by the President of ADB, Mr. Takehiko Nakao to participate as a member of the external Peer Reviewer Team, instituted for the purpose of ADB’s ongoing mid-term review of Strategy 2020. The review is expected to determine whether ADB is on track for achieving the goals and objectives of Strategy 2020 (approved in 2008).
In particular, the review is to focus on
(i) assessing ADB’s implementation experience from 2008-2013 (retrospective review) and
(ii) Identifying key issues and challenges for 2014-2020 (prospective review).
A meeting of the External Panel of Peer Reviewers on the Strategy 2020 was held on Friday, 31 January 2014 at the ADB Headquarters in Manila, Philippines. Ms. Rasheda K. Choudhury, Executive Director of CAMPE,Professor Takashi Shirashi President, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Japan , Dr. Stefan MatzingerSenior Partner, McKinsey & Company, participated in the Meeting, Ms. Rasheda K.
