3 Day long TOT on Activity based Joyful Teaching Learning ends amidst renewed commitment

A closing ceremony of a 3 day long TOT course on Activity based Teaching Learning was held on 5th June 2018 at NGO Forum Training Center.
Dr. Md. Jashim Uddin, Deputy Managing Director, (Admin) Palli Karmo Shohayok Foundation (PKSF) graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Md. Delwar Hossain, Deputy Director, Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) was present as special guest. Mr. Gokul Chandra Biswas, Deputy General Manager (program), PKSF was also present as resource person. A total of 29 participants from 17 downstream NGOs along with CAMPE’s senior management & concerned officials were present in the occasion.
Md. Sajedur Rahman, Agriculture officer & the trainer, Daridro Bimochon Songstha (DBS) & Ms. Banasree Bhandery , Head of Education & Trainer, Ashroy Foundation reflected on the learnings from the course on behalf of the participants. Both of them appreciated the course and expressed their commitment for replicating the learnings in their work. Ms. Bhandery emphasized on introducing group learning, arts and crafts and regular sports and cultural activities in the schools. She also informed the house that the Education Development Committee has already decided to distribute saplings to all primary school students of Shorafpur union, Botiaghata, Khulna to encourage them to plant trees.
Mr. Gokul Chandra Biswas, Deputy General Manager (Program) PKSF urged the participants to work hard for achieving the objectives of OVIJATTRA (RACE) project.
Md. Delwar Hossain emphasized on community engagement as one of the key factors for ensuring quality education and GO-NGO collaboration.
Dr. Jahim Uddin in his speech pointed out the importance of developing as good human being. He urged the necessity of devotion & dedication for the society as well as the country. He also emphasized on the inclusion of moral values & ethics in primary education system
Mr. Tapon Kumar Das, Deputy Director, CAMPE presided the occasion. Mr. Tapon emphasized on sincerity from the project officials who are responsible to implement Ovijattra project in respective unions. It could be mentioned that CAMPE along with it’s 17 NGO partners are implementing a project OVIJATTRA (RACE) in cooperation with PKSF.
Certificates were presented to the participants at the end of the program.
