Bangladesh Team Joins Bharat Yatra to Raise Voice Against Child Abuse, Child Labour and Child Trafficking

A 4 (Four) member team comprised of youth leaders from Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF) and Shornokishoree Network Foundation (SNF) led by CAMPE attended the “Bharat Yatra and Global Planning Meeting on 100 Million Campaign” organized by Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF) in Mumbai, India from 27-29th September 2017. The meeting was aimed to share updates on the progress of the campaign carried out by different partners of Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation and plan for the coming years also.

Total 23 representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Japan, Peru, UK and USA including Bangladesh shared their plans for the coming months and Back to School program. The Yatra convened by Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF) has been holding campaign across India to finally conclude in Delhi, the Capital city.

The youth groups came up with various propositions to ensure their engagement in making their respective countries a safe haven for children.

The event was joined by the Noble Laureate Kailash Satyarthi who is also the founder and heart of the campaign. In his address he expressed his gratitude to all participating countries and reminded that it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure a safe life for all children and protect them against all abuse, trafficking and violence.
